Why Jonathan And PDP Can't Touch Speaker Tambuwal

Both President Goodluck Jonathan and his party, Peoples Democratic Party, are fed up with the Speaker of House of Representatives, Hon Aminu Tambuwal over his obvious romance with Bola Tinubu and other notable opposition and anti-PDP agents.

But Jonathan and PDP can't go after him now because they are waiting for something:

A member of the PDP Board of Trustee told Leadership that there is nothing they could do about Tambuwal now but wait for when he would step on the proverbial banana peels.

Since his emergence as the number four citizen in the country, Tambuwal, has not ceased having what his party described ‘unholy romance’ with the opposition that brought him to power at the expense of the PDP discredited zoning arrangement.

Hosting the leadership of the Rivers State chapter of the party, President Goodluck Jonathan took the likes of Tambuwal and Governor Rotimi Amaechi to cleaners, accusing them of flirting with the opposition at the expense of the party that brought them into office.

However, Olokunbolablessing.blogspot.Com gathered that any action taken against Tambuwal now will back fire on the PDP as he was chosen independently by members of the House and they may follow him out of PDP.

Tambuwal himself have responded to President Jonathan's attack. He insisted that party supremacy should not be at the expense of democracy.

And speaking in Benin City, Edo State capital at the birthday and silver jubilee wedding anniversary of the Deputy Governor of Edo State, Dr Pius Odubu, Speaker Tambuwal again told Jonathan and PDP that in the House of Reps, it is Nigeria first before politics.
